- 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces.
- Black peeper: 1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt : 1 teaspoon.
- Peanut oil : 2 tablespoon
- All purpose flour : 2 Tablespoon
- Shao hsing wine : 3 tablespoon
- Cloves garlic :10 ( peeled)
- Chicken stocks : one and half cups
- Light soy sauce : 2 Tablespoon
- Season Chicken with black peeper and salt. Then toss it with flour until coated.
- Until begins to smoke , heat peanut oil in a large skillet over high heat. Put chicken and fry until the pieces are lightly browned on the outside, 5 to 6 minutes.
- Turn heat to medium and add whole garlic cloves , continue frying for 5 minutes.
- Add shao hsing wine , chicken stock and soy sauce. Turn heat to low.
- Cover the simmer for 25 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Remove garlic cloves before serving.
